Held a productive interaction with prominent figures from the fashion industry & invited them to participate in ‘Bharat Tex’, the world’s largest textile exhibition to be held in February 2024. We also explored strategies to capitalise on PM Narendra Modi ji’s call for ‘Wed In India’ & deliberated on fostering collaboration to make India a global fashion hub by: 🔶 Strengthening industry-academia interface 🔶 Upgrading infrastructure & curriculum of NIFT 🔶 Providing more scholarships for less privileged students 🔶 Global outreach & branding of NIFT 🔶 Connecting NIFT students with artisans & weavers
