In our meeting on the sidelines of #G20Indonesia, discussed strengthening of economic ties between India and the US with USTR @AmbassadorTai .

India will take over G20 Presidency from Indonesia in December this year. In my meeting with H.E @ZUL_Hasan , the Chair of the Trade, Investment & Industry Ministerial Meeting at #G20Indonesia, extended India’s full support leading up to the Summit in Bali later this year.

Met South African Minister of Trade and Industry, Ebrahim Patel on the sidelines of #G20Indonesia. Had a fruitful talk on ways to expand trade and investment between India and South Africa to further deepen ties between the two countries.

Met French Minister for Foreign Trade, Oliver Becht on the sidelines of #G20Indonesia. Discussed progress on India-EU FTA negotiations and also highlighted how a broad-based and balanced trade deal can help to diversify & secure supply chains benefiting both the countries.

India’s strong pitch for multilateralism at #G20Indonesia. At Ministerial Meeting, urged members to work for a consensus-based outcome document. The grouping must send out a strong message of its committed efforts to find solutions for global good.
